Keri Bridgwater, Writer

I grew up in southwest England but have called San Diego, California home for almost two decades. As a writer, I’m drawn to stories that celebrate the people who bring places to life. Memorable adventures include swimming with sharks in Moorea and hiking to the ‘Roof of Indochina’ in Vietnam with a Hmong guide. I’ve visited Japan six times, but Oman and Kenya’s Lamu Island remain high on my travel wish list.

Raven Moran

Raven Moran, Writer

Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Raven Moran is a Los Angeles–based writer and performer. She studied theatre acting and creative writing at Columbia College Chicago, graduating cum laude before signing with a major talent agency and booking work in television, commercials, and voiceover—including appearances in an Apple iPhone 7 campaign, an episode of Chicago Fire, and national spots for AT&T. After moving to Los Angeles, she gained experience interning in casting offices before shifting her focus to writing. Alongside her work as a contributing writer, she co-wrote and co-produced the short film Bar None, which screened at festivals including LA Shorts Fest, Studio City Film Festival, and the Golden State Film Festival, and was highlighted by The Hollywood Reporter in 2022. At the magazine, she covers unique stays and travel experiences in Los Angeles, though her favorite trip to date has been London—she is a devoted Harry Potter fan—and especially loved the theater scene!
