The Contributor Community
​Here & There's curated contributor community — an exclusive group of 10-15 photographers and writers who will be part of an ongoing creative roster featured in our online Journal Series. Our goal is to develop long-term relationships with a select group of creatives and storytellers whose vision aligns with ours.

The Contributor Community is designed to showcase strong visual and written voices, support our broader mission of storytelling through place, and create a mutual platform for growth, visibility, and inspiration.
​
This is a place for quality over quantity. We want to empower creative people to slow down and share stories that feel meaningful. Being part of the Here & There contributor community will feel like belonging to an inspiring collective.

The perks of joining the community:

A Profile on our site
Each member will have a profile on the Community page. This will include their bio, links to portfolio/site, their social media channels, and a growing archive of any published Journal pieces.
​
2x Annual Feature Spotlights
Contributors will be invited to share a personal visual or written story (travel journal, artist insight, series, etc.) online in the Journal Series. These are lightly curated to ensure quality, but with space for creative freedom and personal voice.

Social Media Shoutouts
One introductory “Meet the Contributor” post
Occasional “One to Watch” or themed roundups
Instagram takeovers (BTS footage, a day in my fave city, etc..)
Each time a new feature is published, it will be highlighted on our Instagram and the newsletter aka the monthly mini series.

​Access to Brand Collaborations & Assignments (Future Perks)
As the Here & There platform grows, contributors may be selected for travel assignments, sponsored collaborations, co-branded projects, or print features.​

Contributor Expectations
​
• Must contribute at least 2 original pieces per year to remain active on the roster.
• Work must align with the visual and editorial tone of Here & There (authentic, thoughtful, rooted in place or experience).
• Contributions must be original and not simultaneously published elsewhere.
• Social mentions of their published work with Here & There are encouraged (but not required)
• Placement to sell 1-2 of their prints in our online shop with promotion.

Application to Join
​
This will be a by-application or invitation-only group to maintain editorial consistency and quality. Every September, we will open up our application process for creatives to apply to become part of the community.

How to apply:

Send an email to team@hereandthereseries.com with the subject: Contributor Community Application.
Within this email, please provide the following:
• Portfolio or 3–5 samples of recent work
• Short written response about their creative focus and what inspires their stories
• Example of idea pitch for a Journal piece​​​
• your social media handle(s) and website/portfolio (if applicable)
